Estimation of glycated hemoglobin in the blood
The value is measured as a percentage. The more sugar in the blood, the higher percentage of hemoglobin will be glycated. It's an important blood test for detection of diabetes or suspected diabetes. It shows very accurately the average plasma glucose levels over the past three months. It allows to diagnose diabetes in a timely manner and begin to treat it.
